31 decorated reindeer will be displayed in shop and business windows around Trowbridge town centre from Saturday 21st December until Tuesday 31st December for a fun festive Christmas trail for families and people of all ages, with a chance to win hundreds of pounds of prizes.
The decorated Christmas-themed reindeer will be displayed at venues across Trowbridge town centre, including cafes, beauty salons, art centres, toy shops, solicitors, opticians, a gin distillery and circus school.
Reindeer trail maps can be downloaded from the Trowbridge Chamber website from Friday 20th December, which will lead residents and visitors on a voyage of discovery around some of Trowbridge’s most interesting local businesses. A limited number of printed maps will also be available from The Toy Shop in Castle Street.
Each of the 31 reindeer will have a number displayed alongside it. Your festive challenge is to make note of all the numbers, add them up and email the total to email hidden; JavaScript is required. All correct entries will go into a draw to win prizes, which include a £150 Haines & Smith Opticians voucher, a £100 Serenity Beauty voucher, a treatment at JEM Body Solutions, a £50 voucher from Aesthetics Medical, a Studio Seven fitness voucher, a rug donated by JMS Carpets & Flooring and other prizes.
Kez Garner of the Trowbridge Chamber said, “We are delighted that so many town centre businesses are taking part in our Christmas Reindeer trail, which offers a fun way for Trowbridge residents and visitors of all ages to get out and about and discover some of our wonderful town centre shops and businesses that they may not have known about before.”
The Trowbridge Chamber is a community interest company with over 200 business members from across the region and welcomes businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to international organisations. At the end of the trail, the decorated reindeer herd will be rounded up and donated to the Creative Minds Arts & Crafts centre for a range of 2025 community craft projects.
