Bath Festivals celebrates the 250th anniversary of the birth of Jane Austen with an evening with author Jessica Bull and a series of Austen-themed walking tours around the city where the author lived and wrote.

Join Jessica Bull on Wednesday 2 April at Waterstones, Milsom Street, Bath from 7pm, when she’ll be talking about A Fortune Most Fatal, the second in her Regency inspired Miss Austen Investigates series.

A lifelong Austen enthusiast, Jessica has had fun imagining her favourite author turned amateur detective to right Regency wrongs. Her first book, Miss Austen Investigates, is just out in paperback.

Kent, 1797 and Jane is set to spend the summer at Godmersham Park with her estranged brother, Neddy. As heir to wealthy widow Mrs Knight’s fortune, it is imperative that Neddy stays in his benefactor’s good graces.
