The Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath is inviting students in Years 7–13 and their parents to a special Careers Evening on Thursday 2 October 2025.
The event will run in two sessions (5–6pm and 6.30–7.30pm) at the RUH Education Centre in Combe Park, Bath, and is designed to give young people a real taste of the many different careers available in the NHS.

Students will be able to meet staff from departments including Maternity, Vascular Studies, Radiology, Apprenticeships and Research & Development, ask questions, and even take part in hands-on activities.
“The NHS offers so many exciting opportunities beyond the jobs people might first think of,” said the RUH’s Apprenticeship and Career Engagement Team. “Events like this help young people explore the huge variety of roles available and see how their skills and interests could fit in.”
Each ticket admits one student plus a parent or guardian, and places are limited due to the size of the venue, so early booking is encouraged.
