Artists and makers across Newbridge will open their doors to the public when the Newbridge Arts Trail returns on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May.

Now in its 16th year, the popular Bath event will feature 34 artists across 12 venues, giving families and art lovers the chance to enjoy a free day out while discovering a wide range of creative work.

Visitors will be able to explore painting, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, photography and jewellery, alongside other art forms, as part of the annual trail.

Organisers say this year’s event will welcome several new artists and makers, alongside many familiar faces from previous years.

Whether visitors are looking for a special piece for their home, a handmade gift or simply the chance to browse and be inspired, there will be plenty to see across the weekend.

As well as original artwork, some artists will also be selling cards and smaller handmade items, making the trail an accessible way for families to support local creatives.

Some exhibitors will be offering demonstrations and talking about their practice, giving visitors the chance to learn more about the techniques behind the work on show.

Participating venues include Weston Methodist Church Hall, The Locksbrook Inn and Newbridge Primary School, as well as a number of homes and studios across Newbridge.

All venues will be open from 10.30am to 5pm on both days, with refreshments available at some locations.
