Piccolo Organic Baby Food

When we were told about the new range of stage two organic baby food that was being launched by Piccolo, we sent a few samples on to local mum Briony to see how it faired with 18-month old Lillian. Here’s what Briony told us –
‘Having decided to go down the baby led weaning route, it might seem odd that I do give my daughter pouches but I have found that for travelling or when teeth are coming through, they are a life saver. I simply take off the lid, hand them over and let her feed herself, it’s then very clear whether she likes them or not! Knowing full well that she has a sweet tooth, we started with the more savoury flavours and I can honestly say she has finished every single one. Out of curiosity I have tried them too, the flavours are good and even those which are 100% fruit are not too sweet. The pouches are slightly smaller than some other brands but for a stage two food that is no bad thing and may well cut down on waste.’
