Could your child be the next Tiger Woods style golf superstar? Maybe you would like to try a new family activity… Then the very friendly team at Kingsdown Golf Club would like to help.
Following on from their recent Family Open Day, which saw over 100 people – and 50 children – enjoying a day of golf-based games and activities, as well as a barbecue and refreshments, the club would like to invite more families to pay a visit and take part in the activities they have available for younger members.
The Kingsdown’s Junior Programme is aimed at children aged 5-17 years who would like an entry into golf providing individual and group coaching. The sessions are held by Andrew Butler, the club’s own Head Professional, every other Saturday morning from 10am at Kingsdown’s Driving Range, with the next one scheduled for the 16th July. The cost is £5 per person.
Then on alternate Sunday afternoons at the Golf Club, junior activity sessions are held between 12-3pm, with the next being held on the 24th July. These Sunday sessions are free of charge and involve getting juniors out on the course.
