First Steps Bath is looking for applicants for two positions at its Twerton Children’s Centre in Bath.
The first is for a Family Support Worker – Senior Practitioner to work with the Family Services Team. The successful applicant will contribute to the development and running of community based groups providing: safe and stimulating play opportunities; a social network for parents and children; support for the relationship between child and parent/carer to improve outcomes. They will undertake outreach work, engaging with parents to help them access a range of services. You will work in partnership with parents, carers and partner organisations.
This is a full time, 37.5 hours role with a salary of £19,691-£21,458.
The second role is for a Children’s Services Manager (Maternity Cover). The job involves maintaining the high standards required by the Ofsted inspection framework. You will lead the curriculum and delivery of high quality, inclusive services in partnership with parents, carers, partner organisations and other managers within First Steps (Bath). In addition, you should be able meet the needs of vulnerable children flexibly and ensure that the provision is accessible to them and delivers positive outcomes.
This is a full time, 37.5 hours role with a salary of £30,562-£32,928.
