“Once again, we are enormously proud of our Year 13 students and their success in their final examinations,” said Graham Nash, Head of Sixth Form at Oldfield School in Bath. “We are particularly pleased that 29% of our grades were A*-A grades and 59% of all grades were B or above.
“Among the students to achieve particularly high grades are Joshua Williams who achieved A* grades across the board in English Literature, History and Spanish (Italian & History- Edinburgh University); Nathan Finch and Henry Court who both achieved two A* grades and two A grades; Nathan in English Literature, Film Studies, History and Spanish respectively (Edinburgh University- English Literature); and Henry in Further Maths and Maths (A*s) and Computer Studies and Physics (As). Molly Lander and Sami Ait-Kaci both achieved two A* grades and one A grade in their results.
“As a school that strives for good progress for all our students, we are also enormously proud of Amelia Mattock, Louisa Swann (and once again!) Sami Ait Kaci who exceeded their ambitious target grades in all of their A levels.”
“It has been an enormous privilege to see our Sixth Form grow from strength to strength,” added Steven Mackay, Headteacher. “These results are testament to the hard work of our teaching staff and the determination and effort of our students.”
