Pupils and staff at Trinity First School in Frome are celebrating following their very successful Ofsted inspection recently. The school has retained its ‘Good’ status, with many positive aspects of school life highlighted during the inspection and in the subsequent report.
The report notes that ‘pupils cherish the many memorable learning experiences provided’, and identifies music, reading, excellent pupil behaviour and swift identification and support for pupils with special educational needs as particular strengths.
The inspector also noted that Trinity First school is ‘immersed’ in the local community and that staff have constructed a high-quality curriculum that is ambitious for all pupils. Pupil, staff and parent survey responses were also strong, with the parent survey results being exceptional: 100% of parents would recommend Trinity First School to others and many parents made a point of seeking out the inspector during the visit to make sure she was aware of how highly-regarded the school is by parents.
Headteacher, Amanda Seager, said, ‘We are delighted with the outcome of the inspection, which reflects the hard work and dedication of the whole school community. We are especially proud of the parent feedback, which the inspector said was the best she had ever seen.”
