Kids’ Summer Holiday Club
“Of course, I have to mention the best outdoor holiday club in Somerset (check out the reviews if you don’t believe me!), only for the most adventurous spirits,” said Billie Brocklehurst who started Brocks Outdoor Adventure in July 2021.
“For £35 a day, your kids will take part in archery, orienteering, arts and crafts, campfire cooking, woodland play and loads more! It’s plenty of fun for ages 6-11, so why not book in for a day or two over the summer?
“Plenty of dates still available to book now, so check out the webpage for more details.”
Adults’ Archery Club
“With Summer finally here and plenty of adults wanting to enjoy some adventure fun for themselves, I wanted to highlight two activities that I think you are going to love whilst soaking up Kelston’s tranquil countryside and views,” said Billie.
“The warm summer evenings are back, you’re having as many barbecues as you can and making use of Somerset’s cosy beer gardens, so why not add in our Adults’ Archery club on a Tuesday evening?
“Full of laughter, games, challenges, tea, coffee, biscuits and music – I promise you won’t regret coming to give it a try! Starting at 7pm, all archery abilities are welcome. It’s £15 for your first time, £10 thereafter and the best thing is you can drop in and out to suit your availability, no commitment needed.
“You can find more information and book now via the website. The last club session will be 27th August so don’t miss out!”
Woodland Archery Experience
“So, what’s the difference between Target Archery and Woodland Archery?
“During a Target Archery session, you stay on our range and shoot consistently with up to five others. It’s great for beginners as this kind of session really teaches you all the basics to get you started and learn how to improve your aim with some competitive games.
“Woodland Archery is best for advanced beginners (sounds fancy but if you’ve had one session of target archery before you are welcome to try this experience). You will start on the target range just to warm up and practice for the challenge ahead, then once ready you will shoot through our 10-target course within our woodland. All the targets are at different heights, distances, shooting uphill, downhill, through obstacles and even at a zombie head (please note that no zombies were hurt in the creation of this activity)!
“This two-hour experience is only offered during the warmer months so book now to not miss out!”
Open all year round you can book these experiences via the website at BrocksOutdoorAdventures.com.
