With opera, classical piano, ska, spoken word and swing at a number of venues across town before the Big Weekend in the Park (4-5 July) where there will be live music, circus, dance, family entertainment, choir, art and much more. Almost everything is free but donations are welcome at the gates.

Up Late: Queer Bath at The Holburne

With Silent Disco (7-10pm), and Joelle Taylor in conversation with Manganaro as well as free entry to the collection galleries and discover the Queer Holburne Trail via the Bloomberg app, as well as discounted rates to the temporary exhibition (5-8:30pm).

Originally formed by Ali Campbell and his group of friends from diverse ethnic backgrounds in 1978, the band became known for socially aware lyrics and laid-back reggae rhythms; part of the Forest live 2026 program.

Fiesta! at Bath Abbey

As part of the Patronal Festival weekend, the Abbey choir will sing choral favourites including Zadok the Priest and Parry’s I was glad, as well as a range of other styles including iconic arias, show-stopping songs, soulful spirituals and catchy choruses.
