Year 8 pupils at All Hallows Preparatory School in Somerset celebrated the end of their exams and the closing chapter of their time at All Hallows with the traditional jumper throwing ceremony.
58% of pupils from the cohort have been given a total of 30 scholarships including sport, art, all rounder, science, music and drama to nine different senior schools. The schools that have given the awards include Downside, Kings Bruton, Millfield, Sherborne, Marlborough and Wells Cathedral.
Head of the school, Dr Richards, said, “I am incredibly proud of the journey that all of our students take whilst they are with us at All Hallows; some pupils have been with us for 10 years, some have joined us this term. All Hallows is a better place because each and every Year 8 pupil has spent time here and made their own unique contribution to our community.”
