Competition time! We’re teaming up with The Art Cohort in Bath to offer one lucky winner the chance to win a place on an online workshop, The Girl Who Walked to the Moon, with children’s author Tessa Yates.
Join author and illustrator Tessa Yates in her home studio for some storytelling, live drawing and a behind the scenes tour of where The Happy Book Company stories are brought to life.
The workshop takes place on 16 February from 2-3pm, and is ideal for children aged 5-10 years.
Little Tessa dreams of being the first woman to land on the moon. After her rocket made from boxes gets her off to a slow start, Tessa sets off on an epic adventure around the world to find out how to make her moon dream come true, making amazing discoveries about her super human powers along the way. Ancient moon rituals from three different cultures grant her the wisdom she was missing, but will she be able to put it into practice?
It’s a spiritual tale for practical people, showing that success involves stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.
