Studley Green Primary School in Trowbridge has recently been awarded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with particular attention given to its ambitious curriculum and the way the school meets the needs of all of its pupils.

The report highlights the strengths of the school saying, ‘Pupils are at the heart of this inclusive school. Leaders have high expectations and are determined that all pupils achieve well’. The inspectors added ‘Leaders have a clear and accurate understanding of the needs of their community. High-quality pastoral support and positive engagement with parents has enabled pupils to see everyone as being equal’.

The inspection team also commented that ‘Pupils are polite and considerate towards others,’ and ‘They have positive attitudes to their learning and want to do well.’

“We are delighted that all of our hard work has been recognised in this report,” said Headteacher, Sarah Garbutt. “It is a testament to our fantastic staff and amazing children. Our vision is that all of our pupils aim ‘beyond expectation’ and the report acknowledges that this is what our children achieve. We feel that we are an important part of the entire Studley Green community and are delighted that the report recognises this.”
