Mentoring Plus, a Bath based youth charity who work across BANES supporting vulnerable young people, is selling Christmas trees this year to help raise vital funds for its services from its youth hub in Bath over the weekend the 4th and 5th of December.
“It’s been an extremely challenging year for us all, one where we have lost the opportunity and ability to engage with our local community and supporters and have been unable to hold fundraising events,” explained Becki Fox, Community Engagement Officer at the charity. “The sale of every tree is significant and will make a real difference to us being able to continue to provide activities and mentoring programmes for young people who are facing tough challenges in their lives’.
Mentoring Plus staff and a team of volunteers will be helping you choose your tree and net them up for you to take home. The trees are available to pre-order through the charity’s website shop, but you don’t have to pre-order and are welcome to come along and collect on the weekend of the 4th and 5th of December. The trees have been specially selected, are UK sourced and from sustainable stock.
