Bath Artists’ Studios is holding a weekend of colourful celebrations at this year’s Open Studios event on 23-25 September 2022, including a range of workshops for children to enjoy.
The party starts on Friday 23 September with food, drink and live music in the friendly studio space and courtyard on the Upper Bristol Road on the edge of central Bath.
Throughout the weekend, visitors are invited to come and meet the diverse community of 54 artists, makers and educators, sculptors, ceramicists, painters and photographers, take part in a weekend workshop and see an eclectic exhibition of contemporary works by local community-based artists.
Among the children’s workshops taking place are –
- Funky Art House Fabric badge-making workshop with Funky Art House in their garden studio. Saturday 24th Sep, 2-3.30 pm. ages 10 +.
Family Fun drop-in art workshops with Funky Art House in their garden studio. Sunday 25th Sep, 1 – 3 pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All ages are welcome.
Throughout the weekend, come and add to the big drawing in the Funky Art House studio and make sure you vote on the children’s art competition in the main building.

Bath Artists’ Studios is the largest collective of artists and makers in the city: a registered arts charity that supports and promotes the arts, emerging artists, and art for health. With regular exhibitions, classes and workshops hosted throughout the year, the studios form part of the colourful and creative backdrop of the city of Bath.
