News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Pupils at Batheaston Church School had a great time dressing up in Yellow to support the UK Leading charity Young Minds.

With mental health and wellbeing playing such an important part of school life at Batheaston, staff and children were only too glad to route through their wardrobes and wear something yellow to show their support for this worthwhile charity.

Young Minds is a UK leading charity who fights for children and young people’s mental Health. With an ever-increasing number of children and young adults needing support, Batheaston Church School recognises this need within its own community and places a strong emphasis on supporting and caring for children who may be struggling.

Headteacher Sally Jefferies stated, “By supporting a charity which helps so many young people and children across the country, we feel we are giving something back in the form of raising money for Young MInds so this vital work can continue. Yellow is not always a popular colour to wear but it certainly brought a ray of sunshine into our school on such an Autumnal day.”
