News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Bath Rugby is holding one of its popular open training sessions at The Rec during the Easter Holidays.

Hosted by Dick Lovett Land Rover, fans of all ages are welcome to go along for free and watch the squad train on Wednesday 5 April from 12:00 until 15:00, with an opportunity to meet their heroes after the session – let the autographs and selfies commence!

Back in October, over 500 people enjoyed a family day out in what was a fantastic occasion for a lot of young people from the City of Bath and the surrounding region.

As well as fun activities on the outfield, a variety of food and drink outlets will be available on the day so why not bring a picnic blanket and bask in the spring sunshine after watching the whole of the Bath Rugby squad in full training mode.

Dick Lovett Land Rover will host the session, bringing with them rugby challenges for young fans to win a selection of prizes presented by Bath Rugby’s very own Piers Francis.

The best bit about the family-focused event is it is FREE, making it the perfect half-term activity!
