Following a successful pilot earlier this year, Bath Cricket Club is opening up its Christmas multi-activity camps to children on free school meals or those living in deprived areas, so they can attend the camps at no cost and receive a nourishing hot meal courtesy of the club’s catering team.
The sessions provide an enriching experience for those aged 5-11 filled with sports, creativity, and challenges – such as dodgeball, football, capture the flag, tagging games, arts and crafts, escape room challenges, as well as engaging games and competitions.
Bath Cricket Club’s state of the art indoor cricket centre can be quickly adapted to a range of multi-sport activities, so no matter the weather, those attending the camps will be able to continue with fun and games throughout the day.
Running from 18-21 December 2023, the camps are accessible to all schools in Bath and the surrounding area. Parents can book sessions through the Bath Cricket Club website, and for those eligible for free school meals, bookings can be made via the HolidayActivities Platform www.holidayactivities.com.
Mark Watts, Lead Community Cricket Coach at Bath CC, said, “We are excited to bring back our Christmas multi-activity camps, providing a fun and inclusive environment where kids can learn, play, and make lasting memories. Our aim is to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has access to these enriching experiences.
“By working with dedicated HAF platform, HolidayActivities.com we’re really looking forward to catering for those on free school meals after a successful pilot earlier this year proved very popular with both children and parents.”
The Bath Cricket Club Christmas multi-activity camps promise a festive experience filled with laughter, fun and engagement. For more information and registration details, visit www.bathcricket.com or inquire through the HolidayActivities platform www.holidayactivities.com.
