“A compelling stage presence: easygoing yet with a natural vibrancy that buoys the room” – Chortle

Wed 10 July: Dani Johns & Louise Leigh

Dani Johns – Cringe

Cring is a stand up comedy show for anyone who’s ever done anything mortifying and lived to tell the tale. Join local legend Dani Johns as she offloads the highs and lows of her most embarrassing moments and encourages the audience to do the same. It’s like group therapy, but much funnier and with less crying.

“Effortlessly charming banter” ★★★★ – The Wee Review

Louise Leigh – Distracted

How do you want to be remembered when you die? Taxidermied in a brunch venue of course! Also covered: raising teenagers among llamas; which are the most boring nipples? Why is the menopause a cross between the climate crisis and World War 1? And biscuits. There’s always biscuits.

“Brilliant” – The Scotsman

Sun 21 July: Amy Mason & Katie Norris

Amy Mason: Free Mason

The off-kilter Funny Women finalist and BBC New Act nominee on coming out in her 30s, raising kids, rinsing homophobes, and confronting her wild past. A hotly anticipated debut stand-up hour from a ‘brilliant’ (Bridget Christie) rising star. 8.5 million views on TikTok (‘Bristol Mums’). As heard on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 4.

“Absolutely enthralling” – Broadway Baby ★★★★

Katie Norris: Farm Fatale

The hotly anticipated debut show from an agricultural icon, likely to cause distress or disaster to anyone who becomes involved with her, or her livestock. Allow this seductive woman to serenade you whilst bringing ruin upon your harvest festival.

“Her comic timing is as exquisite as her voice” – Chortle

“Flamboyantly silly’”★★★★ – The Guardian

Mon 22 July: Olga Koch & Micky Overman

Olga Koch: Comes From Money

Star of Live at the Apollo and QI Olga Koch is bringing a brand new work-in-progress to Komedia Bath. She’s not really sure what it’s about yet, but the title should give you an idea.

Micky Overman: Work in Progress

This year Micky finds her life at the point of no return. It’s too late to change things, no matter how much she wants to, plus she’s too old for the coping mechanisms she had in her 20s (buying a plane ticket and flying away from her problems).

“Top-notch lines that wouldn’t be out of place in an A-lister’s Netflix special” – Chortle

Tue 23 July: Tom Ward & Will Robbins

Tom Ward: Choose Your Delusion

Tom Ward (Live at The Apollo, QI) is back, and talking all the big topics of our times – masculinity, three-star hotels, erectile dysfunction, reality TV, adverts, mental health and of course virtue-signalling w**kers. Tom’s here to help you forget your impending death in the climate breakdown, to celebrate the delusions we use to feel special, and to have a laugh at how everything just gets absorbed into shifting products in the end.

“Hits the millennial sweet spot”★★★★ – Metro

Will Robbins: With The Best Will In The World

You know when you feel like no one gets you and you’re the odd one out, but then you realise everyones felt like that at some point so you just crack on, Will’s debut hour is about that. Themes covered are masculinity, disability, family and cretins.

“Slick delivery and old-school jauntiness, with masterful timing” – Steve Bennett, Chortle

Wed 24 July: Eddy Hare & Eric Rushton

Eddy Hare: This One’s On Me

Eddy Hare (BBC New Comedy Awards Nominee & Chortle New Comedian of the Year finalist) serves up his debut hour. Hold your bowl steady and watch this promising uncle of three as he spoons it out with care.

“Sweet and absurd” ★★★★ – BroadwayBaby

“Strong gag-writer… very strong payoff” – Chortle

Eric Rushton: Real One

Channel 4 Sean Lock Award winner Eric Rushton is a comedian with a chequered past. He’s been fired, stolen from and glued to chairs. He’s met some bad eggs, and eaten even worse ones. With this show, he not only wants to make you laugh, he wants to make you learn. To learn how, with the support of his loving family and friends, he’s always had to fend for himself. This is his (funny) story.

“Gloriously and unpretentiously daft” – Rolling Stone

Tue 30 July: Fatiha El-Ghorri & Dane Buckley

Fatiha El-Ghorri: Cockney Stacking Doll

Underneath Fatiha’s colourful hijab is a mind full of cutting observations and engaging witticism of the life and times of a British Muslim woman. Winner of the Best Debut Show at 2023’s Leicester Comedy Festival, Fatiha smashes the Muslim stereotypes and challenges people to think about what they think they know about Muslims; Muslim women especially.

As seen on The Jonathan Ross Show, Outsiders and The Russell Howard Hour.

Dane Buckley: Work in Progress

The world’s only Irish, Indian, gay comedian… (probably) delivers cheeky, camp comedy mischief.

Dane has supported Tom Allen & Rosie Jones on tour & was featured as one of Skiddle.com’s best up-and-coming stand-up comedians in 2023.
