The Mum Club North Wiltshire Brunch Club is back and with its first brunch event taking place on Melksham on 24 September.
“Come with bump, baby or toddler, with friends or alone – everyone is welcome!” explained mum Alex Lolies, the person behind the The Mum Club North Wiltshire. “You’re in for a couple of hours of delicious food, hot drinks and a room full of amazing women who just happen to be mums themselves.”
The event includes:
– A delicious plate of food (options to be emailed about a week before the event for pre-ordering).
– Unlimited hot drinks.
– A TMC goodie bag.
– A small play area for the little one with toys from Lovevery and Gus and Beau playmat.
– A nanny will be on hand so you can eat your food or go to the loo hands free!
– A photographer will be there to take some candid shots!
– A couple of hours to connect with like minded mum friends.
“Let’s be honest, being a mum is tough,” said Alex. “And it can feel isolating, especially if you didn’t quite gel with your NCT group or you’re a second-time mum that’s moved to a new area. The Mum Club is here for you, whatever stage of motherhood you’re at.”
“Good mum friends are essential when you have a baby, but sometimes it’s hard to find them”, added The Mum Club founders Lauren Webber and Jessica Lawes. “The reason we created The Mum Club was that after we had children, we’d go to baby classes, and while they were entertaining for the children, we’d leave having spoken to no one and feeling emptier in a way. This experience drove us to create The Mum Club because we didn’t want anyone to ever feel like that”.
