A series of Fostering Information events are taking place in Trowbridge and Salisbury for anyone who is thinking about being a foster carer. The session are designed to be small, relaxed and informal, and a perfect place for potential foster carers to ask questions and get information.
The sessions will feature a video telling the experiences of a care leaver speaking about the difference fostering has done to her life and how it turned her life around, plus a short presentation by a social worker. A number of foster carers will also be present to give an actual account of what it’s like to foster.
The sessions will take place –
30 January at County Hall, Trowbridge
6 March at County Hall, Trowbridge
3 April at County Hall, Trowbridge (9.30am to 11.30am)
24 April at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre, Salisbury
29 May at County Hall, Trowbridge
28 June at County Hall, Trowbridge
24 July at County Hall, Trowbridge
25 September at County Hall, Trowbridge
30 October at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre, Salisbury
27 November at County Hall, Trowbridge
All events start at 7pm, unless otherwise stated.

You will find out how you can become part of a professional team, with great support network and together we can make a difference to a child’s life.”
