Theatre Royal Bath has announced an updated schedule and a new programme for Winter 2020 into Spring 2021, including a great choice of productions for a family audience.
From 17 December until 16 January, The Play That Goes Wrong will run at the Theatre Royal. Cornley Drama Society is putting on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong… does! As the accident prone troupe battle on against all the odds to reach their final curtain call, comedy chaos is guaranteed. The Play That Goes Wrong promises to leave all members of the family (ages 8-108) breathless with laughter!
Christmas shows for children and families at the egg theatre include Box Clever’s A Christmas Carol (pictured top) (17-20 December), a new adaptation of Dickens’s atmospheric ghost story for ages 10+, and Hibernation (24, 27-30 December), award-winning Little Bulb’s magical look at what it would be like to take a very long nap, for ages 3-7.
Young audiences and families, meanwhile, can Countdown To Christmas with the egg’s Online Advent Calendar beamed to your home and featuring daily adventures with egg favourites Snow Mouse and Squirrel. starting on 1st December.
The Ustinov Studio’s Visiting Company Season 2021 launches with Living Spit’s Beauty and the Beast (18-20 January), a hilarious and rude retelling of the classic tale starring Howard Coggins and Stu McLoughlin, and suitable for ages 12+.
