News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

The Paragon Junior School U10A rugby team had the experience of a lifetime when they recently played in a mini rugby festival at Twickenham Stadium.
The boys, accompanying supporters and coaches, were then allowed to stay to watch the Rugby Championship match between Australia and Argentina, in which Bath hero Leroy Houston made his first international appearance for the Wallabies.
Toby Goodman, the Director of Sport at The Paragon, said he was delighted to receive the invitation for the team to take part in the festival. “Very few children have the opportunity to play at the home of England rugby so it was a very inspirational day. It’s exciting the boys can now say they won at Twickenham.”
As well as touring around the stadium and playing on the ‘hallowed turf’, the boys also received some words of wisdom in a team meeting with from former All Black captain Sean Fitzpatrick.
