News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Batheaston Church School is inviting families from across the Bath region to Meadowfest, a great day out for the whole family. All being well with the planned Covid roadmap, this year’s Meadowfest is on Saturday 10 July from 1pm-5pm, at Mike’s Meadow in Northend, Batheaston.

Mike’s Meadow is a hidden gem, perfect for play and partying. It’s a car free environment so children can run free. As ever, there will be a wide choice of activities for children – everything from face art to forest school activities, to crafts and games.

While the children are busy having fun, parents can relax and enjoy live music, a well stocked bar (including dangerously drinkable local cider) and a range of tempting stalls, including home-baked cakes and treats, stalls and plants.

Meadowfest is organised by the Friends of Batheaston School to raise money for the local primary school. What started as a well kept local secret has gradually snowballed into an annual family-friendly party, welcoming visitors from all over Bath.

Entry is only £3 for adults and £1 for children and many of the children’s activities are free, so this is one wonderful day out that won’t break the bank.

If you haven’t yet discovered Meadowfest, come along and join the party.
