The Wiltshire Music Centre (WMC) in Bradford on Avon is hosting a Wiltshire Youth Choir Summer Course from 25-27 August, giving participants aged 12-18 years the chance to be taught by some of WMC’s fantastic choir leaders.
Participants will explore music from different genres, including musical theatre, opera, jazz and more, and develop their singing voice, with the course culminating in a sharing performance for family and friends.
Cassie Tait, our Head of Creative Learning & Community Engagement commented, “We are so excited to bring young singers together at Wiltshire Music Centre for our first Wiltshire Youth Choir summer course! Over the three days, our fantastic tutor team will help singers build their vocal confidence and technique and learn a really wide range of musical styles. Singing is such a positive thing to do, and with support from Wiltshire Music Connect, the Music Education Hub for Wiltshire, we are delighted to enable more opportunities for young singers in the county to come together and perform.”
The course fee is £45, with an accessibility budget available if cost is a barrier.
