News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Future Bright, which offers FREE coaching to help residents progress in their careers, is partnering with other local organisations and charities to host a series of events over November to help anyone seeking a return to the workplace or support taking the next step in their careers.

These events are –

  • Dressing for Work Come along to the Bath Library, 11am-1pm on Tuesday 8th November for advice about looking the part at work. Local organisation 1st Impressions will be on hand to showcase their work outfits from pre-loved stock in their boutique (women’s clothes only). There will also be information about sources of funding for work clothes.
  • Simple Recruitment event 10am-1pm, Wednesday 9th November, 7 High Street, Midsomer Norton, BA3 2LE.
  • The Employment & Skills Event at The Hive in Peasedown St John happening on Saturday 12th November, 11am-2pm. This event is suitable for anyone looking for advice about hunting for work, training or starting their own business. There will also be information about employers who are seeking to recruit.
  • The Midsomer Norton Jobs Fair Organised by the DWP, Unit 14, South Rd, Midsomer Norton on Friday 18th November, 9.30am-11.30am. Local employers who are seeking to recruit will be attending.
  • Employment and Skills Pop-up Advice for anyone looking to find work, training or start their own business. Thursday 17th November 10am-1pm. Mulberry Park Hub, Bath BA2 5BU.
