Are you ready for a trip to Neverland? Join Chippenham’s CLOGS Musical Theatre group as it tells the classic tale of Peter Pan Jr in May at the Neeld Hall. on 14-15 May
The Clogettes, made up of performers aged 8-16 years, are presenting Peter Pan Jr, a musical based on the original story by J.M. Barrie that provides fun for all the family!
Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children and take them on a magical journey across the stars that they’ll never forget. Along the way, the travellers come face to face with a band of bungling pirates, the Brave Girls and the villainous Captain Hook.
Telling a story of fun, friendship and bravery, Peter Pan Jr promises to make you feel like you never grew up, and the children feel like they’re on an adventure of a lifetime!
With a run-time of 1 hour and 15 minutes, the Clogettes will transform Chippenham into Neverland for three performances only, which take place on Saturday 14 May at 7pm, and Sunday 15 May at 3pm and 5:30pm, at the Neeld Community and Arts Centre in Chippenham town centre.
CLOGS Musical Theatre have been running for almost 45 years and has established itself as a Chippenham staple. CLOGS produces at least one major musical show, most recently Made in Dagenham, which enjoyed sell out performances. They also perform musical themed concerts in the summer to fundraise for the group.
CLOGS runs weekly classes for the Clogettes in singing, dancing and movement for children age 8-16, who also get involved with the annual productions. The Clogettes summer school is also coming up this August. More information about joining can be found on CLOGS Musical Theatre’s website.
