Fold My City invites children over three years of age and their families to The Egg Theatre in Bath, to create a large origami model city, inspired by their local area and community.
In this all-day event from A Line Art, participants can drop-in at any time on Saturday 3 June between 11am and 4pm, to make their own large origami house, boat, car or local landmark, which becomes part of an evolving installation.
This event provides origami templates at a range of ability levels, with instructions and various sizes of paper, pens and crayons. Bespoke drawn templates are also created of local landmarks specific to each touring venue.
Once participants have made their origami creations, they will be able to add their object onto a vinyl-drawn map of the local area, watching the installation grow over the day.
