Oldfield School is set to present its forthcoming production of the hit musical, Bugsy Malone, featuring many well-loved songs, dancing and of course plenty of ‘splurge’!

Set in prohibition era New York, the show follows happy-go-lucky Bugsy Malone and wannabe singer Blousey Brown as they try to find success and love, in a city run by mobster-kids wielding whipped-cream-firing ‘splurge-guns’ as gang leaders Fat Sam and Dandy Dan compete for dominance.

Pupils from Years 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 will take to the stage to act, sing and dance. Artwork created by the students especially for the show will be a key feature of the set design and the school’s concert band will be providing live music. Everyone is invited come along to be entertained and support the students.

Tickets are available at £4 each, £3 concessions (Oldfield pupils/ any under 18s, OAPs and Disabled Persons). Contact email hidden; JavaScript is required

There is also an option to book one of a limited number of tables in the ‘Speakeasy’ for £28. These seat six, are positioned with a good view of the stage and will include something baked by our pupils for each ticket holder.

The show will run on Wednesday 5th July and Thursday 6th July 2023, 6:30pm for a 7pm start.
