The Green House Education Project CIC is looking for a new home ideally in the area between Bristol and Bath from September 2024
“We’re looking for a space to re-home our well-established, not for profit Home Ed learning community so we can continue to provide support to local children and young people who are home educated,” explained Nicola, one of the facilitators at the project.
“Many of the children are neurodivergent, have experienced trauma and mental health issues and have struggled to attend school. The Green House Project provides a space for them where they feel valued and safe, can learn how to connect with others and the wider community, and where they can discover, explore and express their passions.
“We’re looking for the use of nurturing, creative indoor and outdoor space for up to 28 children ages 5-15+ years old. We need indoor spaces for them to create their projects as well as wild outdoor spaces for children to freely connect with nature.
“We run three days a week during term time so we can share the right space or ideally take on a space of our own. We’re happy to renovate and decorate and make it our own. If you’d like to help or have any ideas we would absolutely love to hear from you.”
