If you are not familiar with The Vintage Nostalgia Festival then now is the time to change that!
Set in the beautiful countryside of Stockton Park, Wiltshire, The Vintage Nostalgia Festival is a fun-filled nostalgic weekend of live music, dance, vintage and antique shopping, classic cars, automobilia, children’s entertainment and so much more! You can visit for the day on the 31 May – 2 June 2024, or stay for the whole weekend camping or glamping – with a choice of luxury bell tents, caravans and period 1950’s silver bullet airstreams – from the 30 May (camping is prebook only & subject to availability).
Thousands of vintage enthusiasts and classic car owners will be in attendance, and there will be hundred of cars on display over the weekend from the 1920’s to the 1980’s.
Visitors are encouraged to wear period attire, and to help with the transformation, Pearls Pin Up parlour will be on hand to create any style or look. There is also the chance to enter the ‘Best Dressed Competition’, learn to jive, swing dance, sample the finest real Ale from Palmers Brewery, enjoy the vintage theatrics from the re-enactors, meander through the Vintage Village trade stand area and get busy in the children’s activity and entertainment section.
Or, if that’s all to energetic you could just sit back, relax with a Pimms in the Vintage 1963 Leyland Titan Double Decker Bus Bar!
The Vintage Nostalgia Festival team has organised a fabulous line up of live music and dance acts over the weekend offering jazz, blues, pop, swing, and rock n roll from as far back as the 1920’s right up to the 1980’s.
The Old Time Sailors will be performing on Friday at Midday. This flash mob musical show will take you back in time through an unforgettable trip to the 19th century. Every member of the audience receives a copy of the Sunday Sailor, the groups own newspaper-shaped program which includes the lyrics to all their songs. You can be become an ‘old time sailor’, sing along with the band and dance with the crew!
