News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

Performers aged 3-60 took to the stage at The Roper Theatre, Hayesfield School recently in a charity concert in aid of the Friends of The Margaret Coates Centre, raising over £2,000 in the process.

Children and adults from Little Dancers teamed up with children from Oldfield Park Infants and Junior Schools, Moorlands Federation and Roundhill Primary, alongside local amateur performers, to create an entertaining evening of song and dance. For many this was their first opportunity to perform on a professional stage.

This entertaining evening involved children from 3-11 years old performing routines that they had been learning in their dance lessons. Combined with the adult dancers and amateur signings, the evening offered something for everyone.

Alison Pritchard, the director of Little Dancers, commented, “I was delighted to give so many children and adults a chance to perform on a professional stage and to be able to raise so much money for such a worthwhile cause”.

Little Dancers offers dance classes for children and adults in the Bath area.
