Green Shoots Pre-school is opening a new nursery at The Victoria on Millmead Road, Oldfield Park in Bath. The new nursery will be addition to the established Green Shoots Pre-school on Bear Flat.
The new setting will open on 4th January 2021 and will offer all year round care, Monday to Friday, 8am-3.30pm, for children aged 2-5 years.
“We are really pleased that Green Shoots can finally offer five days a week and all year round provision,” explained owner and pre-school manager Judy Scott. “The building and surrounding area is beautiful, just like in Bear Flat, and our current ethos will smoothly transfer to the new site with our experienced staff team.
“We pride ourselves on our relationships with families, how we nurture children’s personal, emotional and social development, and our yummy ‘family’ lunches. We look forward to getting to know you all.”
Judy added that the new setting will have a capacity for 32 children, with six experienced and qualified practitioners. The setting will also offer 15/30hrs Early Years Entitlement sessions, with options for year round and term time only. Freshly made cooked lunches will be available during term times, with healthy cold lunches in the holidays.
“It’s a real benefit too that the new setting features a large, open plan hall with free flow access to the spacious garden. What’s more, it will be fully inclusive, with provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities – it’s part of our core principle that every child matters to us.”
“We’re also keen to build on links with the local community, such as engaging with volunteering opportunities, singing sessions with elderly community at the park, supporting Moorland Road fundraisers and community events.”
