News, events and schools' information for families across Bath and West Wiltshire

The Roman Baths will stay open until 10pm every evening this summer, offering visitors a chance to enjoy the special atmosphere around the torchlit Great Bath. Torchlit Summer Evenings will run from 23 July to 31 August, with last admission at 9pm.

There will be a pop-up bar beside the Great Bath selling champagne, sparkling wine and soft drinks. The museum will stay open late so that visitors can look around the fascinating displays about life in Roman Bath, long after the usual closing time.

Councillor Kevin Guy, Leader of the Council, said, “Summer Evenings are a great opportunity to explore the Roman Baths after hours and soak up the magical atmosphere around the torchlit Great Bath. Admission is free for Bath & North East Somerset residents, and you can book your free tickets on the Roman Baths website.”
