B&NES Libraries are asking you to come up with the most creative and artistic reuse of one of its ex-library books!
Collect a book that has come to the end of its borrowing life plus an entry form from Bath Central, Midsomer Norton or Keynsham Libraries from Saturday 11 Feb 2023.
Entrants have until July 22nd 2023 to create their entry and hand it in to Bath Central Library to be part of an exhibition of entries in August 2023.
“We are so excited to be relaunching our Recycled Book competition once again,” said Kate Whelan-Jones from Bath Central Library. “It’s open to all ages and abilities, we want to encourage everyone to just have a go at creating something awesome! We can’t wait to see what come back to us for the August exhibition.”
Age categories for entries are under 12, 12-17, 18+ and groups of up to eight people. Entrants only allowed to submit one entry per person or group, and all entries must only use a ex-Library book supplies by B&NES Library Service.
An exhibition of entries will then be held at Bath Central Library from August 1 to September 4 2023, with the winners selected by public vote during the exhibition.
